Power Automate is Microsoft's automation service, part of the Power Platform. Cloud flows connect Microsoft 365, Dynamics and many other services with triggers and actions, and desktop flows automate work on a Windows computer the way an RPA robot would. For companies already on Microsoft 365, it is often the automation tool they already have access to.

Copilot can draft a flow from a plain description, and AI Builder adds models for reading documents, classifying text and extracting data. Licensing depends on the type of flow and connector, and premium connectors need extra licenses, so check what your plan includes before building.
